You can change a young person’s life.

Every year, young people experience Wingspan Arts’ programs – afterschool, in-school, and over the summer – and have the opportunity to grow, both as people and as artists.

Through our tuition-free, intensive Summer Theatre Conservatory program, middle and high school students get to experience pre-professional theatre training, for free. And it’s only because of donors like you.

IMG_5768 copy“Let me tell you something about the organization that changed my life…Wingspan Arts was good for me in so many ways – I became confident and more comfortable in my own skin. I grew as a performer and made life-long friends. Even when I was full of doubt, I was reminded to push myself to my fullest potential…I can say I honestly don’t know what my life would be without Wingspan Arts. “ – Aneesa Folds, Summer Conservatory graduate

In our afterschool programs, K-5th grade students have a safe place to go after school where they can experience the joy of the arts. Every semester, Wingspan Arts receives hundreds of scholarship applications – each one from a family going through a hard time that wants to do the best by their child.

Tuesday Wearable Art“It would break my heart and both my children’s hearts to not be able to enroll them this coming semester due to financial constraints and hardship without the assistance of a scholarship.” – Fall 2015 afterschool parent

Will you make a donation today to change a young person’s life in New York City?

One day of afterschool – care from dismissal until pickup, an enriching arts class, and the caring community at the school site – costs $25. Your donation of $25, $50, or $125 will give one day, two days, or a whole week of afterschool to a family currently lacking resources. Your gift to the afterschool fund will support a family in desperate need.

Summer Conservatory provides 6 weeks of intensive theatre training – for free. You can give the gift of theatre training to the next generation of artists with a donation today.

Thank you for your support of our programs! You make everything possible.
